Senior Leeds Appointment For BTG Forensic
BTG Forensic, specialist in forensic accounting, financial investigation and valuation services, has appointed Richard Pughe to head up a new division in Leeds and the North East.
The appointment is a direct response to the increased demand for BTG Forensic’s services within the Yorkshire region, and will be the company’s third UK office after London and Manchester.BTG Forensic, a member of the Begbies Traynor Group, offers a full range of forensic accounting and financial investigation and valuation services, providing skilled, timely and cost-effective input into dispute issues for businesses and individuals.
John Reynard, National Head of BTG Forensic, said: “Richard’s appointment to the Leeds office is a tremendous acquisition, and allows us to further enhance our UK and international forensic service offering.
“Richard has many years’ experience encompassing the full range of financial investigation and litigation support work, with considerable expertise in fraud, an area in which we are seeing particular demand."
Richard, a 42-year-old chartered accountant, joins BTG Forensic after 10 years at Baker Tilly, and has 17 years’ forensic accounting experience.
He said: “The challenge of leading the development of BTG Forensic in Leeds is one that excites me hugely. Despite the introduction of the Civil Procedure Rules in 1999 we have seen a year-on-year growth in demand for quality service and experts with significant expertise and experience in the witness box. With the group support of Begbies Traynor, we hope to be able to further develop our Forensic offering in Leeds and the North East.”
